Nashville Studio
GREY HOUSE STUDIO - ZIG PRODUCTIONS has a studio in Nashville, Tennessee, and also in Arlington, Texas. We offer custom CD production, full-band and acoustic demos and mastering.
Zig(Billy Herzig) wrote for Sony Tree, Music Daily, Warner-Chappell and other publishers in the ’90s and helped arrange, record and produce demos for some great Nashville songwriters and artists.
About Nashville ….We moved the Nashville studio to the Donelson area in ‘07 after 11 years on “music row” (17th ave). Through the years, we’ve done demos for Capitol, MCA, Sony, Warner Bros., Warner-Chappell, BMG, RCA, Asylum, Arista, Universal, Famous, EMI, Almo-Irving, Polygram, Blue Water, High Seas, Hamstein, Curb, Sony/ATV, and lots of others.

We use great musicians who have played on hit song demos and on major artists’ records. We also use a wide variety of demo singers to fit different needs.
Many demos recorded at Grey House have gone on to be cut by major artists like Tim McGraw, Doug Stone, Radney Foster, Martina McBride, Dixie Chicks, Trace Atkins, Chely Wright, and others. “Good Things Are Happening” (written by Bill Deasy and Larry Gottleib) was recorded at Grey House and was used as the theme song for ABC’s Good Morning America for several years. Comic Carla Rhodes’ hit “I Love Animals” was also recorded at Grey House went to #1 on Dr Demento’s comedy song charts.
